Hmm,
it is a PPS file, and not a PPT file, therefore by design in LibreOffice is not
available for modification or editing on escaping from the default slideshow
presentation display.

This is the new default behaviour for PPS files. You will note that the
LibreOffice application still stays in the Dock, so the app is not crashing,
merely doing what it is expected to do.

If you want to return to edit mode, then you must rename the file extension of
your file to PPT. You can still launch the slideshow mode from here and return
to edit mode afterwards.

Closing this as not a bug, at least not in the 3.3.x or 3.4.x versions.

Alex

P.S. There are however other issues with this file in slideshow mode, e.g. the
fact that it seems impossible to move from slide 2 to slide 3 just by clicking
on the navigation arrows or spacebar or even clicking on the mouse buttons. I
have to use the scroll button on the mouse to get the slides to move on through
the presentation and there is a huge lag, but this would have to be the subject
of a separate bug report (I suspect it has something to do with either the
number of images, or the animations that are to be found within the
presentation. Additionnally, the slideshow display in a daily build from the
master source repository for 3.5 gets corrupted moving from one slide to the
next so that only the initial slide is displayed and parts of the other slides
are overlaid.
