This is not a release blocker, sounds more like a problem in your environment. 
Have you installed the fontconfig devel packages, please?

Either way - this kind of build breakage is best solved on the development
mailing list, libreoffice at lists.freedesktop.org, I'd suggest you subscribe
there.  Alternatively visit #libreoffice channel on irc.freenode.net.
