This bug is about an issue with GNU/Linux packages (RPM and DEB). Perhaps it
affects other platforms but I haven't checked yet. This has also been filed in
Ubuntu:

The thesaurus and hyphenation packages are missing from the LibreOffice
packages:
  * libreoffice-thesaurus-*: Thesauri for the use with LibreOffice
  * libreoffice-hyphenation-*: Hyphenation patterns for LibreOffice

These are mentioned in the language packs as providing the expected
functionality. I don't use this frequently, I am relaying information but I was
able to confirm such packages are missing.
