Failed to reproduce error on LibreOffice 3.4  340m1(Build:12) for OpenSuse KDE. 

Downloaded attachments, followed steps 7 to 12. See no difference. Possibly
fixed in the new release? Can anyone else confirm?

Just for clarity: I presume 7. -> Format -> Styles and formatting.
