Hi peter: 

1. Ctrl + Drag&Drop a slide in the thumbnail list will do the trick :)

2. In Libreoffice 3.4.2.2, when you hover mouse in the slides thumbnail list,
there is an extra floating tool box appearing on the slide (3 gray buttons on
black background). The buttons on them, from left to right, function as: 'start
slide show', 'hide slide', 'DUPLICATE SLIDE'

So please give more convincing evidence why we need this. Thanks.
