Summary: PASTE INTO SHEET LOOSES LEADING ZEROS, FORMATTING
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: LibO 3.4.0 release
          Platform: x86 (IA32)
        OS/Version: Windows (All)
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Spreadsheet
        AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
        ReportedBy: larry_johnson at amway.com

picture showing before, after and dialog box

When I copy column data into spreadsheet that includes values with leading
zeros, those leading zero's disappear. I have tried preformatting the cell I
copy into and it acts the same. Interestingly, during the paste process a
dialog opens titled text import. It lists the character as unicode, language
as default-enlish(usa) and from row 1. The separator options are set to
separated by Tab and the text delimiter field shows a double quote like ".
Other options are not checked. In the fields section I see the column in
question and the values are showing up correctly... with leading zeros. But
when I click ok I get a different result. I believe this problem was not
around till after OO3.1. But I did have to preformat the range I pasted into.
Now that doesn't even work.
