Summary: Editing table structure - changes cannot be saved
Product: LibreOffice
Version: LibO 3.3.1 release
Platform: x86 (IA32)
OS/Version: Linux (All)
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Database
AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
ReportedBy: gaf at foxgordon.freeserve.co.uk
Editing structure of table. If previous field is copied and used as template
for next field the table cannot then be saved successfully - try to close,
asked to save changes, table remains open - process repeats until option used
to not save changes.
Seems to be related to copying the description text for a field.
Possible related bug is that if complete fields are copied, cut and then pasted
the descriptions that were written are deleted on the pasted fields.
Database also seems very slow in use. I am using a registered database as
opposed to an external version (would prefer to use external but haven't been
able to get that to work yet).
Hope that this is of some some use.
Regards, Gordon.
