Sometimes one just has to get used to slight differences in behaviour as
software evolves. (If you want everything to stay the same, don't change
anything, don't ever upgrade any software.) 

But I'll leave it to Kohei to tell if this is intentional, and what the
rationale is, and whether there perhaps is any workaround. I very much doubt
this is "critical" though...
