Contains original file made with MS Office (unknown version) as well as odt
file. Both files crash Writer.

Open the attached files and scroll down the text (PgDn does the trick). At some
point writer freezes and a few seconds later it crashes. 
Original file is made in Microsoft Office (unknown version) and it's been
tested to work fine using Microsoft Office on several different computers. On
the same computers but using LibreOffice, it crashes.

Original .doc file has been saved-as .odt and problem presists. Both the
original as well as the .odt files are attached to this report.

No specific error code is given so that's as much info as I have.
