This has bothered me since the very first beta has been released and seems to
be getting worse.  My computer is a Windows 7 x64 machine with a Core i5
processor and 4GB of DDR3 memory.  In other words, it is no slouch of a
machine.  Installation of LO takes minutes (at least 2).  I haven't timed it
but it is definitely longer than any other program of comparable size.

My laptop is running Windows Vista SP2 x86 with a Core 2 Duo P8700 processor
and 2GB of PC2-6400 memory.  The latest upgrade to 3.3.2 took about 10 minutes
on this machine.  My laptop is virus/spyware free and all the programs
(including LO) run quickly, but installation takes FOREVER.  I'm not sure how
installation speeds can be improved but they are excruciatingly long with the
current builds.  I suggest an improvement in installation speed be considered
as an enhancement for future releases.  Thanks!
