Summary: Libre Office can't detect Java nor can it be manually
                    added.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: LibO 3.3.2 release
          Platform: x86 (IA32)
        OS/Version: Windows (All)
            Status: NEW
          Severity: blocker
          Priority: medium
         Component: contrib
        AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
        ReportedBy: clrbugzilla at gmx.com

I did not have Java installed when I installed LiO (Libre Office) so I expected
the warnings. I then decided to Install Java 6 r24 the latest at this time.
After it was installed I restarted LiO to my surprise it didn't detect the new
Java installation. So I went to the Options pane and attempted to manually add
the new installation. So I went to the Java Pane in the options menu, did not
see my new JRE install and clicked "Add." When I went to the file dialog and
picked the C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin folder (Where the main executable is)
and clicked "OK" I received this message: "The folder you have selected does
not contain a Java runtime environment. Please select a different folder." I
checked with windows explorer and all of the files were there. This was on a
Windows 7, I don't have access to other windows versions.
