Hi,
Sorry for the delay, it was kind of hectic at work.
I also did not want to attach the sheet causing the problem, as it contains all
my personal data.
I threw out my personal stuff, and the sheet still has the problem, so I'll
attach it to the bug report,
along with a new strace.log

As you see on the tcpdump output, the problem is dns related.
 here I start tcpdump and opened the sheet test4homesheet2011.ods from
file/recent documents
