Wow - this is really good work August ! :-)

I suggest that before we push any of this, we should get some sample patch
files for review onto the mailing list to discuss.

eg. removing the pch includes is prolly a bad idea :-)

Also (but it will take quite a while to test), it might be nice to compile
before + after and time it to see if there is a real win ...

But exciting stuff :-)
