I nearby never print from Spreadsheet, so my experience is small, but for my
needs with reporter's sample OOo-dev 3.2.1 fulfills my experiences, LibO 3.4
does not. I did not think too much about all arguments and facts in "detailed
analysis", but after a quick reading I agree with the thoughts and with the
conclusion that for particular user need the current behavior is a step back. I
still have difficulties to find a user scenario founding the step from OOo 3.2
to LibO's behavior.

I still see only user scenarios funding your opinion.
