Requesting re-open, as this is a persistent problem which affects every Irish
user of OOo and LO. As such a basic feature is unavailable to non-technical
users, this is a vital hurdle to adoption here. 

I have Libreoffice installed in Ubuntu and Gentoo. For simplicity, I will
report based on the Ubuntu install. 

I have a suite of UK English dictionaries installed on this machine, and
documents tagged English (UK) are spell-checked correctly. English (Eire)
documents _should_ be using the same dictionary contents. Instead, no spell
checking is performed (as there is no matching dictionary). "Perform Spell
Check" returns immediately, Red-Underlining misses all mis-spellings. Perhaps
this is a different bug, but I should expect a warning if there are no
functional dictionaries.

Note: This is _not_ solved by myspell-ga -- English is the primary language
spoken by the grand majority of the population in Ireland

Note2: All of the documents which come in are already tagged with
Language="English (Eire)". Manually changing all of these to "English (UK)" is
not an acceptable work-around.
