Problem description: 

If I insert a GIF or PNG with transparency, the alpha-channel is displayed as
black.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create new document
2. Copy & Paste or import pixel-based image with alpha-channel

Current behavior:
The image doesn't look as it should

Expected behavior:

It should have transparency

Platform (if different than the browser): 

Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:7.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/7.0.1
