Ah!  I had not seen that wiki entry.  I did check that this bug had already
been reported, but apparently with less success and not specifically in older
versions.  Just a general search.  Thank you for spotting it.

There's no need to reopen this bug.  Your first comment in Bug 34725 "Color
Picker only comes up for visible icons" states exactly the issue I was trying
to describe.
