Although there is a work-around for this bug, it should be of the highest
importance.  This essentially makes Libre Office unusable for the "normal" OS X
user who would not know how to delete the Saved Application State.

This bug will definitely cause some OS X users to switch to another program. 
I've already had to replace Libre Office with another program my wife's
computer because she can't afford to wait until the end of the day for me to
fix Libre Office if it crashes in the middle of the day.
