Hi Tom,

Thanks for the extra information, this is certainly a hint to something that
goes wrong somewhere. However, I still have a question :

Could you save from ODS to DBF having memo field types with previous versions
of OOo / LibO ? I seem to recall that this was possible with OOo 1.1.x, and
possibly 2.x.x versions, but I can't remember if that functionality was lost in
later versions.

A sample DBF file with the Memo field that causes the problem in it would be
helpful.
