Problem description: losing focus when using long list of animated elements

Steps to reproduce:
1. create a slide with 30-40 elements
2. add animated entry for all elements
3. try editing settings such as speed for element listed near bottom of the
list of objects
4. after doing so, list of elements is brought back to the top 

Current behavior:
list scrolled to the top

Expected behavior:
list remains where it was prior to altering settings for object.

This is quite annoying when each element needs different timing.
