             Bug #: 48847
Summary: EDITING: using cross references: the selection list is
                    incomplete/faulty
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: LibO 3.5.2 Release
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
 Status Whiteboard: BSA
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
        AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
        ReportedBy: omar at uoradea.ro

Problem description:
The names/descriptions of the items included in the Selection list in the
cross-references interface are incomplete or totally blank making the interface
almoust unusable making it very difficult to identify properly the objects.

Steps to reproduce:
1. make a table
2. make a caption to the table
3. go to Insert->Cross References->Tables.

Current behavior:
Depending how you defined your caption you will see the followings in the
Selection window:

a) an empty line if you choose to make your caption in such a way that the
Caption Order to be " Numbering first"
or
b) a truncated line (the first letter is truncated) wich contain only the
category and number of the respective table
if you choose that the Caption Order to be " Category first"

I didn't test for other categories.

Expected behavior:
In order to be easy to choose items in the Selection windows we need the
Category, Name and Caption Text. Without that the whole cross-reference system
is useless.

Platform (if different from the browser):

Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:11.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/11.0
