             Bug #: 53078
Summary: FORMATTING: Merged cell with background color splits
                    when content is edited
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 3.6.0.4 rc
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
 Status Whiteboard: BSA
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Spreadsheet
        AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
        ReportedBy: keysuck at gmail.com

Problem description:
A merged cell with background colour and text/number is splited when a row is
added above and the text is edited(addition or deletion of character(s)).
Undoing the action does not remerge the cell and when clicked on any of the
cells affected, the background colour of the cells without the text disappears.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a new spreadsheet.
2. Merge A1:C1.
3. Enter any text or number.
4. Add background color.
3. Insert a row from row 1.
4. Either add or delete a letter or number in the merged cell and hit enter.

Current behavior:
1. Merged cell splits.
2. Ctrl+z does not revert to the merged cell but only the edited text is undone
and when clicked on any cells with the background color, the background color
in B1:C2 disappears.

Expected behavior:
1. The merged cell should remain merged.
