On pc Debian x86-64 with 3.6 sources updated today, I reproduced partly the
problem.

I had the same kind of corrupted data when saving in xls.
However I could save in ods format without corrupted data (!).

I noticed that name could be defined twice:"Global" and "data" (the name of the
sheet). Could you take a look into Excel to check ?
(BTW in LO, it's "Insert Menu", "Names", "Manage" for example)

Precision:I said "yes" when LO asks to update the links during launching.
