Same issue? :

After upgrading from 3.5.5 release to 3.6.0 release, my (german) autocorrection
was gone, so I checked Extensions. English was bad but german looked good, yet
was not selectable as language in spelling settings, so I installed
http://extensions.libreoffice.org/extension-center/german-de-de-frami-dictionaries
which brought back autocorrection (german).
