On pc Debian with 3.6 sources updated 2 days ago, I haven't reproduced the pb.
Here what I did:
in root
- mkdir /mnt/windows
- mount -t ntfs-3g /dev/sda3 /mnt/windows

in user
- Create a local directory (mkdir ~/lo/bugs/53368_symlink)
- go to local directory then create the symlink (ln -s /mnt/windows/)
- launch Writer
- just put 1 word and save in ~/lo/bugs/53368_symlink/windows

What's your localization ? (I used by default English localization)
