I encountered a similar fatal error after upgrading from LibreOffice 3.4.4 to
3.6.0 on Windows 7.  In my case though, it referred to NLPSolver rather than
script-provider-for-python:

Deleting the "C:\Users\Brian\AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice\3\user\extensions"
folder and re-installing fixed the error for me.
