The error still exists.

Mark range including formulas in Apache OpenOffice.
Ctrl-C
Goto LibreOffice
Ctrl-V oder use Edit>Paste Special or use drop-down list from Paste icon.
No format gives you the original formulas like a copy from one sheet to
another.

It is a pity that LibreOffice can paste such data from Excel but not from a
related project.
