But current behaviour is done by security reason.

Suppose, one customer asked You to change one document on his usb-disk. You
changed document and saved. Then boss asked to create new document with secret
information. You created document and saved. You expected that document saved
in folder MyDocuments on hard disk, but really document saved on usb-disk of
customer. When customer gone, result was in information leak and information
lost.
