Bug #: 44479
Summary: Column formatting lost from time to time
Classification: Unclassified
Product: LibreOffice
Version: LibO 3.3.4 release
Platform: x86 (IA32)
OS/Version: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Spreadsheet
AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
ReportedBy: dqmqdegc at sharklasers.com
Hi,
i use LibreOffice calc with a spreadsheet that i put on Dropbox and i
access this mostly from Ubuntu but also occasionally from Windows(don't think
thats the problem, but i guess it could be though?) and every few days the
formatting for each column is lost and reverts to no formatting. Like i would
have a column for currency and a column with a date format (MM/DD/YY) and
several columns with bold fonts and indented 10 pt etc and all of a sudden the
any new cells i use are just reverted to no formatting.
Also perhaps related, sometimes i will have a column for the date and if i try
to put in say 1/4/12 the 1/4 will format as 1/4th or 1/3/12 will try to show
up as 1/3rd/2012 etc and it wont format correctly even if i try to reset the
column formatting so i just give up and input 01/03/12 or 02/05/12 etc with the
zeroes...not a big deal but just wanted to pass along...
btw, thanks for a great (and free!) Office Suite...i can't believe all the
excellent free software thats available out there on both Windows and Linux.
