Bug #: 51829
Summary: FORMATTING: FORMATTING: Edit Paragraph Style files to
update spacing on styled paragraphs
Classification: Unclassified
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 3.5.3 release
Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Status Whiteboard: BSA
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
ReportedBy: bugzilla at cyningstan.org.uk
Created attachment 63936
--> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=63936
Paragraphs in first block on left-hand page have been selected and spacing
removed with "Paragraph..." option on context menu. The other paragraphs retain
the unwanted space between, even after using "Edit paragraph style".
Problem description:
Steps to reproduce:
1. Copy and paste paragraphs from an imported document (e.g. RTF) where
paragraph spacing is set to something other than 0.
2. Attempt to remove unwanted spacing by right clicking on one of the
paragraphs and clicking Edit Paragraph Style
3. Change the paragraph spacing to 0
4. Click Apply OK.
Current behavior:
Spacing remains between paragraphs. If you retry as per step 2 above, the
paragraph spacing is reported as 0, but there is still space obviously visible
between the paragraphs in the document.
Expected behavior:
The spacing should be removed from paragraphs of the selected paragraph's
style. This is what happens if the paragraphs are typed in, rather than copied
and pasted from elsewhere.
