Platform: All

impress slide with predefined background (use it to find reproduce the bug)
I am using libre office on 2 different machines;
on one of these machines using the hardware acceleration slows down the machine
(found especially using impress)
1) HP 2510P (2 GB RAM; 1,2 MHz dual core; Ubuntu 10.04): hardware acceleration
works fine
2) IBM T43 Thinkpad (1,5 GB RAM; 1,73 MHz single core; Ubuntu 10.04): without
hardware acceleration everything is o.k. (but not very fast); with hardware
acceleration programs like libre office impress become very slow;
you can make the bug visible as follows: open impress; make a new presentation;
open the slide master and add one of the predefined backgrounds (this will slow
down the slide show!); add a few slides to the presentation (some text, some
pcictures) and start it. In presentation mode changing from one slide to the
other one is slow motion when hardware acceleration is enabled; without
hardware acceleration it is acceptable on IBM T43.
Bug in hardware acceleration?
