Problem description: 
program crashes after starting to initiate the scanner

(scanner hp ScanJet 5p  works with other programm)  

Steps to reproduce:
1. initiate the source scanner via 'picture' - 'scanner' - 'choose source'....

2. libreoffice crashes

3. start the program with repair option and repeat the proces with same
consquences....


Current behavior: not able to wor with scanner

Expected behavior: open trhe scnnner source and scan dokument for use in
libreoffice
