Comparing reporter's screenshot with Menu in  "LibreOffice  3.5.5.3  English
UI/ German Locale  [Build-ID: 27122e39-92ed229-498d286-15e43b4-d70da21] on
German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) I see a lot of missing Menu Items, I doubt
that that is MAC-intended.

@Peter Krantz:
- Does the problem persist when you renamed you User profile before you 
  Launch LibO?

- Can you add missing menu Items in menu 'Tools - Customize -> Menus'?
- From what version did you update - 3.4 to 3.5.5.3?
- Really only Insert menu affected?
