This is not a bug, you just don't have any files that are supported as an image
file in that folder. All I see are pdf's, xcf, otp, odp and doc files in that
folder from the image you show, none of these are supported as images in LO.
XCF should probably be supported but from your description this is not a bug.
If you navigate to a folder that has images (png, jpeg, etc...) they'll appear.
If they do not, please provide another screenshot image and reopen this bug.
