The document with the bug. See blank page two.

Hello,

I have noticed that Writer will occasionally insert a random page break after
the first page of a document. If I attempt to delete it, it seems to work. But
when I save and close the document, then I reopen it, the page break returns.
This has happened on two different documents, and each time, I tried numerous
times to correct it. But each time I reopened the document, it returns.

The only fix I can find for it is to create a new document, retype the entire
first page and then copy and past the rest of the document in. If I try to copy
and paste anything from the first page, the page break comes back.

The oddest thing about it is that I can open, edit, save and close the document
several times over several days, and it doesn't happen. Then suddenly, the page
break appears. I also have other documents that so far have not had this
problem. I am saving all of them to DOC format, but not all of them do this.

I have attached the most recent document with this issue. I did manage to get a
line on the second page by fidgiting with it (I don't remember how I did it)
but the blank space is still there.
