This is what I see if either one of the colors is darker than what I described.
(I made 'window background' black)
Problem description:
If my system settings
Steps to reproduce:
1. Change "View Background" color or "Window Background' color
2. Open Impress
3.
Current behavior:
With hue:0 Saturation:0 Value: 48 Red: 48 Green: 48 Blue: 48 as my window
background or view background for the system, the slides show up white, or with
whatever background I choose. If I have a darker color in either of those
settings (I like by windows very dark) the slide will not show up, and I will
only get the 'view background' color, even if I change the background. The
backgrounds show up correctly in the slideshow, but this bug makes editing the
presentation difficult.
Expected behavior:
I expect to see the background I selected for my slides.
