In 'Tools -> Options -> LibO -> General' we now have an additional checkbox for
"Enable Macro Recording".
In current Help Macro recording still is listed under "Enable experimental
(unstable) features"

Has been confirmed 2012-07-29 on <discuss at de.libreoffice.org> by Thomas
Hackert.
