Exaple of the regression

Pressing format data series (by double click on data series or by format
selection) in Chart component of Calc shows different pictures in selection
field (icons), preview field and finally in the chart, do there is one thing I
select, another thing I see in the preview and the 3rd thing appearing in
chart.

I don't have installed version 3.5 and I don't know if it has this error.

I would say that this is severe regression.
