Tested with Word 2007, WordPad, OOo 3.1, LibO 3.3.4, LibO 3.4.5, and LibO 3.5.2
RC1 on Windows Xp and Vista 64.

All programs display the the same error as your image (Attachment 2).

Probably the RTF file is not OK.
