Summary: Neither the Open, Save, Save As or Save ALL commands
work i.e no dialogue box is displayed.
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: x86-64 (AMD64)
        OS/Version: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: critical
          Priority: medium
         Component: Libreoffice
        AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
        ReportedBy: appclcp9 at virginmedia.com

Installed the UK Version on my machine and the installation completed without
any errors being reported

All the Libre office components appear to open with out any problems but I am
unable to save any documents I've created in Libre Office nor can I open any of
my Word documents. I have tried to use both the menu options and the shortcuts
nothing happens - i.e. no dialogue boxes appears as detailed in the online
manual. These were run on the Office, spreadsheet and Presentation applications
but the result is the same

If you close a text document a dialogue appears with the options Save, Discard
or cancel, select Save and the dialogue disappears but no dialogue appears to
all the document to be saved.

I have uninstalled the application and downloaded a fresh copy and reinstalled
- again no problems were reported on the re-installation but the Open and Save
options do not work.

My Machine is

Windows 7, 64 bit OS
AMD Phenom II processor
4GB
Rams
500 GByte hard drive
