Imagen al tratar de insertar una formula en writer

Problem description: 

Steps to reproduce:
1. ....  Open writer
2. ....  Insertar - objeto - formula
3. ....  Tratar de insertar cualquier simbolo

Current behavior:

Solo aparece un pequeño recuadro, no aparece el marco emergente para escribir
la ecuacion

Expected behavior:

Abrir marco para insertar ecuacion

Platform (if different from the browser): 

El problema se presenta tanto en Linux como en MacOS
