 No - the debuginfo is rather large, it would double the size of the download.
So you would prolly want to just use the version from your linux distribution
and install the 'debuginfo' package - the slowness is an old problem so there
is no need for a really new build I think.

Good point :-) I use:

export OOO_DISABLE_RECOVERY=1
valgrind --tool=callgrind --simulate-cache=yes --dump-instr=yes ./soffice.bin
-writer --splash-pipe=0

You need to be able to write to the application's directory so:

sudo chmod a+rw .

or something first. It'd be great to have a wiki page on profiling and/or to
update any existing ones if there are any.
