It happens to me as well, and I have to remark that CMD+O should be the
shortcut to Open a file, but it causes the crash too.

So there could be a mistake on the shortcut (leading to Help instead of Opening
file) or the file opening crashes too.

Versione: 5.3.3.2
Build ID: 3d9a8b4b4e538a85e0782bd6c2d430bafe583448
Thread CPU: 4; Versione SO: Mac OS X 10.8.5; Resa interfaccia: GL; Motore
layout: nuovo;
Versione locale: it-IT (it.UTF-8); Calc: group

Moreover, I tried to get this data (LO Version) from the Start Center and it
didn't work too. I had to open Writer to have such a dialog.
The result in this case is just nothing: when hitting on "Info on LibreOffice"
from "LibreOffice" menu bithing happens.
The same with LO started with no window shown (as known, it's a MacOs
peculiarity to have apps open with no existing windows).

Should I open a different Bug for this?

Finally I can confirm also the crash when trying to start a new document from a
template, in no window shown mode.

I hope those info may help to fix this awful crash.
