Hi raal,
your post made me think but I couldn't reproduce your TB asking for jpgs.

Instead I deinstalled LO 6.0 x86-64 and installed 6.1 x86-32 instead. In combo
with TB 59x86-32 and LO6.1x86-32 copying works.

Either there's been sth fixed between LO 6.0 and 6.1 or it's got sth todo with
the 64bit and 32bit versions in coop with 32bit Thunderbird.
