There is no entry called "Data Table". Here are my steps:
3. Right click and select Data Ranges
4. Click the button to the right of the "Data range:" field to enter cell
selection mode
5. Click F487
6. Go to cell selection mode again, click F488
7. Cancel

Nothing bad happens.

If my steps do not match what you did, please give the correct steps.
