@Rob : on a separate machine (MacbookPro), I get the same error as you have
been experiencing.

Quite why on my Macmini the jar launches correctly as I indicated in my
previous response, but does not on my MBPro with macoS 10.13.6, requires
further investigation. Nonetheless, the problem is not a LibreOffice one.
