            Bug ID: 118106
Summary: Unsuccessful record search causes form to change focus
to previous record, but displays empty fields where
                    pre-existing data should appear
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 5.4.7.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Base
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: dave at mckennas.net

Description:
With a new record selected in a form, upon closing search dialogue box after an
unsuccessful 'find record', focus in form changes to previously saved record
but appears empty of data. If user did not notice the change in the record
number on the form navigation tool bar, it would appear that the form's focus
was still on the new record and the previously entered data which is not being
displayed could be overwritten.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.on form navigation tool bar select 'New Record'
2.on form navigation tool bar select 'Find Record'
3.enter search string that will not be matched in text field
4.click on 'search'
5.No records corresponding to your data found. click on 'OK'
6.Make a note of the record number displayed on the form's navigation bar.
7.on the Record Search dialogue box click on 'close'

Actual Results:
The record number displayed on the form's navigation bar will have decreased by
one. The fields that contain data which should be displayed when that record is
selected will be blank, however anything entered will overwrite the existing
data.

Expected Results:
The focus of the form should remain on the new record. If this is impracticable
and the focus must change to the previous record, its data should be displayed
on the form.

Reproducible: Always
