            Bug ID: 126472
Summary: Update function doesn't seem to work for release
                    candidate versions
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 6.2.4.1 rc
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Installation
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: mburford81 at gmail.com

Description:
If using a release candidate Libreoffice, it doesn't update. I currently have
6.2.4.2 installed, and using 'Check for updates' it comes up that 6.2 is up to
date. Obviously there is 6.2.5 release version out now, as well as 6.3.0.1
release candidate.

When using a release candidate version, the update system should update to the
latest release version, or the latest release candidate if available. A simple
registry setting could enable release versions be updated to release candidate
versions. This should apply to anything that is in the 'final configuration
state'. Local language (such as English (UK) should also automatically update.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Just simply won't update! I've experienced it previously as well, not sure
when it started.
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Says it is up to date when it isn't.

Expected Results:
It should update to the latest RC if available, when updating from a RC, or a
final release.

Reproducible: Always
