The bug was already present in V3.5.2.2 (portable). I will change the version
info to this.

The bug is NOT legacy! It does not show in V3.3 nor does it in AOO up to date.

I personally never experienced the issue described in the original report for
reproducing in step 6. I woiuld like to know if it actually showed for other
users with ANY other software or with specific ones. 

In addition to the already described issues there is a related neagtive
variant: 
Having gotten rid of the icon in a sheet where it shouldnÄt show by selecting a
cell, you will NOT be presented the icon if you select the sheet it belongs to
EVEN if the cell possessing the validity setting is still under focus.

The additional issue also is present already in V3.5.2.2.

Everything is unchanged up to V 6.3.0.0.beta1.

The importance is set medium/trivial. May this mean the bug will never be
addressed?
