Now I could reproduce from scratch. It appears there has been some confusion
due to the number of things we are able to resize.

Step 3 in more detail is: be in chart edit mode, left-click to select the
*chart wall* - you can verify this by right-clicking and checking that the
context menu says "Format Wall". Drag down the wall a bit.
Step 4 is done after you exit the edit mode.

I will bibisect this.
